EARTH DAY
Today is Earth Day and I just watched a news program, channel 5 here in Los Angeles. They stated a fact…"Horses and cows pollute the air more than automobiles so eat less meat to save the earth.” That is just great. TRY EATING A CAR YOU IGNORANT BASTARDS!
Dream Walker Ranch, Las Vegas, Nevada
The following was sent to “ripoffreport.com” on February 3, 2009:
“I bought a horse sight unseen from Dream Walker Ranch for $5,900. When the horse arrived it looked like a rescue horse! It was at least 200 lbs. underweight, hoofs were very neglected (bad case of thrush), teeth were in such need of floating the horse had trouble eating. He also was very off in the left rear! Am waiting on x-rays and bloodwork to see if there is anything else to be concerned about.
I was so sorry for this horse I wouldn’t send him back for double my money! I am going to love him and take care of him like he deserves. If anyone is considering buying from Dream Walker Ranch, USE CAUTION! They claim not to be horsetraders but that’s exactly what they are!”

The owner of Dream Walker Ranch has responded and says that it was the fault of Double Bar T Transport Company. (They always pass the buck.)
Right here in Yorba Linda, CA an acquaintance of mine purchased a four year old Walker from Dream Walker Ranch last month. She paid $5,000 for it. This little gelding is for her nine year old daughter. Why anyone would buy a horse on line, site unseen, with no vet check, is just plain stupid and beyond me. But a lot of people are ignorant to just how unregulated and dishonest the horse industry is. The only thing worse is used car salesmen.
Attached are pictures of the horse the day after he arrived in Yorba Linda. Isn’t it in great shape? Notice the horrific rope burns around three of it’s legs. No abuse going on at this place!
We have already contacted the Las Vegas Animal Control and they have promised to keep us informed on their findings at “Dream Walker Ranch”. Our Vet, Dr. David Tresser, has treated “Timmy’s” wounds and he is doing well.
What You Can Expect From Us
HorsesDIY.com is now a Blog Site and dedicated to improving the plight of the horse. We feel that the majority of horse owners are good and treat their horses well, but there are a lot of people that are just in it for the money and do not even know a horse from a dog or cat. We will be looking for stories and pictures of any mistreatment or neglect of an equine and we will publish them on the blog. We will mention names, addresses and show pictures of anything that we might think will expose those dumb asses in the hope that we might be able to make a difference in the way horses are treated. We go to a lot of horse shows and we will comment on the judging if needed and the show as well. I announce a lot of horse shows in Southern California.
We will concentrate on our little city of Yorba Linda, which by the way has over 3000 horses in it's city limits, Southern California, the State of California, the United States and then the world. We go to a lot of auctions and horse shows. We own three horses so we know where the good and the bad trainers, stables and rescues are. We have used almost all of the equine medicines and treatments available and we will test them and make our comments. We are familiar with other blogs such as Fuglyblog.com and HorseTrainersFromHell.com and others that we can promote and draw from. I am also a Disc Jockey on an internet radio station and I will not hesitate to use the radio to promote the horse and expose those jerks that abuse or neglect them.
We are serious and we think that we can make a difference. We encourage your comments and stories and if you have any questions about horses or training we can help with our staff of professional horse people so please do not hesitate to sign up and give us your comments or questions. We will also report any good owners and tell the good stories as well.
